Dr. Jonathan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Co-Owner of Ascend, and proud East Texas Native. He specializes in manual therapy, dry needling, and IASTM, and he is Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
After earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), Dr. Jonathan began his career with a 2.5-year manual therapy residency and fellowship at the Manual Therapy Institute in San Marcos.
He was recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) in 2014, thus achieving the highest credentials in manual therapy recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and the American Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Jonathan is married to Stephanie, and for the past 14 years, they have enjoyed traveling, spending time at the lake, and raising their three children, Saydee, Sawyer, and Jett. Dr. Jonathan is an avid golfer, duck hunter, and fly fisherman.
